As the pandemic lockdowns tighten across most of the Bay Area, 2020 will bring a Christmas like no other. Gatherings outside of a single household are prohibited and restaurants are relegated to takeout and delivery only—except in San Mateo County, where officials have pleaded with residents in neighboring counties to stay home.
But local restaurants are offering options across price ranges and for those doing a solo dinner or families who just want to support a local business. This list has a little of everything: traditional holiday meals or those with a twist and some of the best desserts in the South Bay.

Baumé

To kick off a festive evening, Baumé is offering a choice of three take-home meals featuring prime rib ($98), king salmon ($98) or Wagyu beef ($198). Each meal includes four courses. A selection of French wine pairings are also available for an additional $150-$650.

The Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley is serving a meal to-go that includes salad, soup, choice of either Lamb Shoulder or Beef Roast with sides, dessert and a full bottle of Prosecco. Pre-orders are due by 5pm on Dec. 20. Costs start at $440 for four and go up to $880 for eight.
LB Steak

The team behind LB Steak is serving up a festive holiday-inspired menu, including a bone-in short rib, lobster tail and truffle mac and cheese. A three course prix fixe for two is also available for $120. All pre-orders are due by Tuesday, Dec. 22.
Meso Modern Mediterranean

For those looking to break from the mold, Meso Modern Mediterranean’s holiday dinner offers four courses including hummus, mediterranean branzino and baklava as dessert for $75 per person. It’s open for pickup and delivery between 12pm and 8pm Christmas Eve.
Bistro Vida

Bistro Vida is offering a comforting dinner for two of either free-range roasted turkey dinner ($45.50) or prime rib ($48.50). Both come with mashed potatoes. Other sides, like sweet potatoes and macaroni and cheese are also available. Open from 11am to 9pm Christmas Eve.
