The “Flintstone House,” a roadside oddity that has piqued the interest of Silicon Valley commuters along Interstate 280 for years, hit the market this week for a whopping $4.2 million.

Burlingame real estate agent Judy Meuschke shared details on the 2,730 square foot property at 45 Berryessa Way in Hillsborough, built in 1976. It’s the ultimate Burning Man conversation piece:

“Eugene Tsui, famous architect, known for his unusual buildings in Asia and U.S. designed the unique kitchen. Burning Man artist, Dan Das Mann, fabricated interesting steel coiled doors,” according to Meuschke. “Lots of custom glass from John Lewis Glass Studio embellish the kitchen. A beautiful Italian Catellini & Smith medusa chandelier gives a nice focal point to the conversations pit.”

The house will be shown by appointment only.
