The Last Dinner on the Titanic, Thursday, April 14
Ever wondered what it was like to eat the last meal served in the first class dining cart on the R.M.S. Titanic before it’s fateful end on April 14, 1912? The Fairmont Hotel and executive chef Daniel Maurice are offering the chance to find out. Among other delicacies are 1912 favorites such as “Oysters a la Russe,” “Consomme Olga,” Calvados-glazed roast duckling and petit-fours. The evening will include live classical music and period dressed staff.

Connect through Food and Art, Friday, April 15
Veggielution is redefining the boundaries of the urban landscape. Efforts are centered around building a community to address the most compelling environmental, social, and health issues of our time, redefining people’s relationship with the land and with each other. On Friday, April 15, come to Kaleid Gallery and devour a variety of farm fresh treats prepared by Laura Stec, local author and chef extraordinaire, plus chefs Liane Herrick, Mike Borkenhagen, Jessica Rene Krause, and Joe Gaudet, and enjoy a silent art auction, featuring farm-inspired art produced by visionary local artists.

Taste Wine in Santa Cruz, Saturday, April 16
The Passport Program offers visitors a taste of over fifty Santa Cruz Mountains wineries from Half Moon Bay to Gilroy. Enjoy the festivities Saturday, April 16th,between 11 am and 5 pm and visit wineries not typically open to the public. Passport holders will be invited to tour the facilities, meet the winemakers, and sample the fruits of their labors – including special wines poured only for participants in the Passport Program. The passport never expires.

Jelly Bean and Wine Pairing, Sunday, April 17
Enjoy an “Easter Bunny Hop” (a.k.a Jelly Belly and wine pairing experience), in honor of Easter and Spring, on Sunday, April 17 at Summit to Sea wineries. Each will feature a selection of wines paired with gourmet Jelly Belly flavors. Try honey jelly beans with chardonnay and wild blackberry jelly beans with zinfandel at Burrell School winery, strawberry jam jelly beans with pinot noir and chocolate pudding jelly beans with cabernet sauvignon at MJA vineyard along with other interesting combinations at Loma Prieta and Poetic Cellars.
