The Poppy Farm Home and Garden shop will host what it hopes will be its first annual food and wine event in the San Pedro Square Market on Sept. 22, from 2 to 6pm. The event will feature wine from several premium local wineries, including Clos LaChance Winery, Equinox Winery, Thomas Fogarty Winery, Martella Winery and Sones Cellars. Food will be available from the likes of Blush Raw Bar, Bocca Lupo Pizza, Robee’s Falafel and Treatbot.
 
The Poppy Farm sells gifts for the home and garden, including crafts by local artisans, living arrangements, jewelry, garden accessories, hats, purses and native plants. All the native plants come from Native Revival Nursery in Aptos.

Fifteen percent of sales will go toward a yet-to-be-named local charity. Tickets will be available for use at each wine and food station. The wineries will offer four-ounce pours and food vendors will be serving small plates. There will also be live music and bottled wine for purchase.
