For anybody who has ever wondered what it’s like to train with world class mixed martial artists, here’s your up close and personal look.

The cable channel NuVo TV is taking MMA fans on an inside look with its reality show “Fight Factory.” The show takes viewers inside the doors of San Jose-based American Kickboxing Academy and Josh Koscheck’s “Dethrone Base Camp” in Fresno.

Head coach, and kickboxing legend, Javier Mendez leads a team of MMA superstars through a grueling life of blood, sweat and tears in and out of the cage.  While some fighters are chasing titles, others are trying to establish a career alongside greats such as Cain Velasquez, Josh Koscheck, Josh Thomson and Jon Fitch.

The show also gives viewers a look at a veteran fighter struggling to make his return, not only to the big stage, but to earn a spot back on the team he was once a part of. AKA has the reputation as being one of the greatest schools in MMA. Some of the cast includes ex-UFC Heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez, UFC fighters Jon Fitch and Josh Koscheck, Strikeforce champions Luke Rockhold and ex-Olympic wrestler Daniel Cormier. It was also home to controversial MMA stars Phil Baroni and Mike Kyle.

“Fight Factory” premieres on August 15th with a two-hour special and. New shows will air every Wednesday on NuVo TV. Check your local cable provider times.
