(Croatia/France; 84 min.) Three brothers, a few elderly neighbors and some sheep are all that remain in a Serbian hamlet. In this ruefully funny documentary, the brothers herd their sheep, share a bedroom and decorate their walls with pin-up photos: a mosaic of unrealistic expectations. After a friend brings a bride back from the former enemy country of Albania, the oldest brother plots to woo a “no-nonsense” woman to their hillside shack. This is an affable shaggy sheep story. The Klezmerish soundtrack keeps the otherwise-bleak tale light. (DH)
