Cooking Class at Love Apple Farm Sunday, Feb. 13
Want to know how to eat like a 2-Michelin star chef and a world-famous food blogger? Join Chef David Kinch, of Manresa, and Pim Tecamuanvivit of Chez Pim, for “day-off dinners,” a new cooking class series at Love Apple Farm. After harvesting a few choice goodies from the Love Apple Farm garden, Kinch and Pim will take you into an intimate kitchen setting to share their secrets of cooking at home. On the menu Sunday, Feb. 13 will be abalone rice clay pot, simple roast chicken, green salad with classic vinaigrette and apple tart with salted caramel sauce for dessert. It’s a great way to pre-celebrate Cupid’s day!

Blind Wine Tasting at Savvy Cellar Sunday, Feb. 13
On Sunday, Feb. 13, Savvy Cellar in Mountain View will be hosting a “blind” wine tasting in honor of Valentine’s Day. Being poured will be four different Valentine’s Day-themed, 90+ point wines. All those who will be able to guess which wine is which correctly will receive a gift card for another Sunday tasting. Celebrate Cupid!

 

 

Valentine’s Day at Baume Monday, Feb. 14
Baumé will be open for Valentine’s Day dinner on Feb. 14 even though the restaurant is normally closed on Mondays. They will be serving a $148 eight-course prix fixe tasting menu with a complimentary rose for each couple. Wine pairings by the glass will be available for an additional $100. There will be two seatings, 5 to 6:15pm and 8 to 9:15pm. Courses will include Osetra caviar with chive sorbet and smoked brioche minute, a 62-degree farm egg with shallot sunchoke and potato croquette; and rose petals Chiboust Valentine with mini madeleines.

Valentine’s Day at Junnoon Monday, Feb. 14
This Valentine’s Day, enjoy a romantic evening over an intimate 4-course Indian dinner for $45 per person at Junnoon. The menu will feature a special selection of modern Indian dishes and includes a complementary box of Indian chai chocolates to share. In addition to the meal, there will be romantic Bollywood films throughout the night to provide the right backdrop. On offer at the bar will be a selection of specialty Valentine’s Day cocktails such as Junnoon’s Kama Sutra and Potion No. 9.
