Add a national sports columnists to the growing list of those making the case for the Oakland A’s to head south to San Jose.
Foxsports.com’s Ken Rosenthal says the move would be good for the A’s and MLB, and it should happen sooner than later. While his sources—A’s owner Lew Wolff, money-hungry sports agent Scott Boras—are admittedly biased, Rosenthal argues there is no other suitable alternative for the future of the franchise. San Jose’s city officials have already made it more than obvious they want the A’s and are not far off from having a package in place.
But others think the issue is more complex than meets the eye. BallparkDigest.com throws cold water on Rosenthal’s belief that it will be easy to bring the green and gold into San Francisco Giants territory.
