The Heartache Sisters are an adventurous Americana duo featuring Laura Benitez on vocals, acoustic guitar, snare drum, and percussion; and Michele Kappel-Stone on vocals, snare drum, acoustic guitar, washboard, and ukulele. Based out of the Berkeley/Oakland area, The Heartache Sisters came together from a five-piece electric band to emphasize tight vocal harmonies and masterful songwriting. They have brought their unique mix of Americana, country, and rock to countless clubs, festivals, and street corners.
