Description
Join the Crepe Place as they host another installment in their weekly Movie Nite series, sponsored by Cedar Street Video. This week features a screening of the black comedy cult classic, Withnail & I. Written and directed by Bruce Robinson, the film takes place in London in 1969 and follows two unemployed and unemployable actors Withnail and Marwood as they decide to leave their squalid Camden flat for an idyllic holiday in the countryside. However, when they arrive there, it rains non-stop, there's no food, and their basic survival skills turn out to be somewhat limited. Matters are not helped when Uncle Monty shows up, displaying an uncomfortably keen interest in Marwood.
