Join the Crepe Place as they host another installment in their weekly Movie Nite series, sponsored by Cedar Street Video. This week features a screening of the classic 1961 musical, West Side Story. Winner of ten Academy Awards, West Side Story is an adaptation of adaptation of the legendary romantic tragedy, "Romeo and Juliet," by William Shakespeare. The story follows two warring New York City gangs - the white Jets led by Riff, and the Puerto Rican Sharks led by Bernardo. But when Riff's best friend Tony and Bernardo's younger sister Maria meet at a dance, no one can do anything to stop their love. However, their courtship will have dire consequences for members of both gangs.
