Description
Join the Crepe Place as they host another installment in their weekly Movie Nite series, sponsored by Cedar Street Video. This week features a screening of the critically acclaimed film, Pan's Labyrinth. Written and directed by Guillermo del Toro, this film takes place in 1944 fascist Spain in which a young girl, fascinated with fairy-tales, is sent along with her pregnant mother to live with her new stepfather, a ruthless captain of the Spanish army. One night, she meets a fairy who takes her to an old faun in the center of the labyrinth who tells her that she's a princess, but must prove her royalty by surviving three gruesome tasks. If she fails, she will never prove herself to be the true princess and will never see her real father, a king, again.
