This Howard Hawks-directed film stars the legendary actor Humphrey Bogart, considered by many to be one of his best performances, as well as Lauren Bacall, Martha Vickers and John Ridgely. The movie follows private detective Philip Marlowe as he is hired by a wealthy family to take on a complex case, but little does Marlowe know that before he is through he will have seen murder, blackmail and what might be love.
