Come on down to the Crepe Place as they host a triple bill with The Avengers, Pansy Division and The Groggs. The legendary Avengers may have only had a brief existence, but they sure managed to achieve quite a bit. From June of 1977 to June of 1979, the Avengers played over 100 shows, appeared with the Sex Pistols at Winterland for that group's legendary last show, and performed with the X, the Go-Go's and the Dead Kennedys. While the group hasn't done much since their break up nearly 30 years ago, they do reconvene every now and then and remain a popular concert attraction for old school punk rock enthusiasts.
