The SFIAAFF is the nation’s largest showcase for new Asian American and Asian films, annually presenting approximately 130 works in San Francisco, Berkeley and San Jose. Since 1982, the SFIAAFF has been an important launching point for Asian American independent filmmakers as well as a vital source for new Asian cinema.
With 125 films and videos, the 25th San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival(SFIAAFF), takes place March 15 to 25, 2007, in San Francisco, Berkeley and San Jose and is pleased to have a new flagship venue: the AMC Van Ness Theatres in San Francisco. The Festival will also screen at the Castro Theatre and Landmark’s Opera Plaza Cinema in San Francisco, as well as the Pacific Film Archive in Berkeley and the Camera 12 Cinemas in San
Jose.
