Description
Residents of rural Wisconsin by way of the Bay Area, husband-and-wife duo Peaking Lights combine elements of dub, krautrock, synth-pop and electro-psych music to create a style that pulls from a variety of influences yet refuses to sit nicely in one genre. Balancing the warmth of analog instrumentation with the convenience of digital editing, Indra Dunis and Aaron Coyes weave sometimes loose and spacious, sometimes dense and repetitive layers of sound into extended compositions that are unpredictable and experimental yet easy on the ears.
