Description
September 2015 will see British singer/songwriter Passenger (Mike Rosenberg) return to the U.S and Canada. In whats been a busy year since his last sold out North American tour, the English troubadour has been playing everywhere from street corners to stadiums around the world, whilst also finding time to release his 7th studio album Whispers II - a collaboration with Unicef UK which saw 100% of profits donated to fighting malnutrition in Liberia.Following the success of hit single "Let Her Go" from 2012's All The Little Lights, Passenger saw career high chart debuts with Whispers, which landed at #12 on the Billboard 200, #1 on the Folk Albums chart and #5 on the Rock Albums chart. While the album features symphonic sounds and a multitude of instruments and backing vocals, Passenger's live set-up still remains an intimate one-man show, with only his unique voice, acoustic guitar and beautiful story-telling capturing the attention of audiences in the thousands. In a live review last summer, Billboard.com noted: "Despite his lack of backing players, Rosenberg more than fills the stage with his infectious energy, which is felt by everyone from superfans singing along in the pit to couples canoodling in the upper balcony...what shines through most of all during Rosenberg's 90-minute set is how easily he's able to make a 2,000-person show feel like a fireside serenade."
