Description
Power and Light Press is on the road and bringing their mobile letterpress to the Museum of Art and History. Created by Kyle Durrie, the Moveable Type Truck is a mobile print shop built into the back of an old delivery truck. Within its quarters are a fully functional shop with a small table top press for printing smaller works, and a larger proof press capable of printing larger posters. The Moveable Type Truck has traveled all over the nation, visiting schools, art spaces, city parks, music festivals, craft shows, parties and more, all with the purpose of teaching everyone the fine art of printing, the old fashioned way!
