Description
Join the San Jose Museum of Art as they present another installment in their Lunchtime Lecture series. Entitled "An Introduction to Color Science", this lecture features Mark Butterworth, an optical scientist at Philips Lumileds, as he gives a fun and informative overview of the human visual system. Guests will learn how color science evolved from the work of Sir Isaac Newton in the 1600s to that behind today's digital cameras and displays.This lecture will be held in the Charlotte Wendel Education Center. Guests are welcome to bring food and beverages. Free with museum admission.
