Description
The Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History hosts Listening to the Earth II: Temporality. This is an all day event that features poetry, music, performance art and dance. The first floor of the Museum will feature performances from internationally acclaimed artists Nita Little, John Zibelll, Kevin O’Connor, Annie Sprinkle, Beth Stephens Duskin Drum and the performing group, Thingamajigs. This 14-hour long performance will also see Stephen Ratcliff reads 1,000 poems throughout the day, liquid designs in ocean water filled kiddy pools, an interactive dance installation, and a performance collage that re-interprets found imagery and printed text.
