Born into a musical family in New York, Julia Nunes was simply destined to pursue music as a career. Her father is a pianist and a composer of children's songs, one of her grandfathers was a composer of Portuguese fado music and the other one was a jazz pianist. This eclectic musicall upbringing definitely had an influence on Julia as she is quite adept at singing and playing the ukulele, guitar, melodica and piano.
