Description

DJ Method feels lucky to be born and bred in San Francisco. His adolescence was spent living in the heart of two cities: San Francisco, CA and Hong Kong, China. Trips to Nepal, Thailand, Japan, Singapore, as well as many cities around China itself- offered awesome exposure to all types of people and music from all over the world.

He picked up his first set of turntables while in the Air Force-he enlisted at 18-in the desert of New Mexico. With no record store within hundred miles, he bought records online and taught himself how to beat match and scratch. His mixes were distributed through friends, around the base, and across the area. Many hours of spinning at house parties and local bars paid off when he left the Air Force and returned to San Francisco, where he was immediately picked up by local promoters and clubs. Method has mashed up popular music driven people to the dance floor in all kinds of venues-from dive bars and fashion shows to the newest clubs in the city. Recognized by Bay Area DJ's and clubgoers alike, he has landed gigs locally, in San Diego, and opportunities in Las Vegas.
His music style crosses many eras and genres. Every crowd and venue is different. Don't be surprised to hear Michael Jackson, Daft Punk, Jay-Z, Van Halen, Deadmau5 and LMFAO all thrown together seamlessly creating a high energy party atmosphere.
