Celebrate Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with an evening of festive fun at the MAH. Bring your friends and family to craft calaveras (skull) masks with artist Noelle Correia, cut papeles picados (paper banners), groove to music by ZunZun, enjoy colorful dance performances by Grupo Los Mejicas, “It’s a Dead Man’s Party” visual presentation by artist Gregory Scott, food by Tía Beré of the Farmer’s Market, crafting, facepainting, and much more. Bring a photo or memento to place on the community ofrendas in the MAH Atrium. This year’s community ofrendas were created collaboratively by Gateway School, Gault Elementary and Ann Soldo Elementary. Perfect for all ages. This year’s festival falls Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) on Free First Friday this year.
