Description
The San Jose Museum of Art will launch its new book club, SJMA Reads, in lively style with a “Color Party." In honor of the exhibition Local Color, the book selected for the fall is Color: A Natural History of the Palette, by Victoria Finlay. The Museum invites individual readers or book clubs to attend the party; it is not necessary to read the book to enjoy the activities. The kick-off party will include colorful drinks, a DIY Art activity for adults, interactive color stops in the galleries, and color aura readings by Heather Lauren of the San Jose Psychic Institute.
