The Afrofunk Experience is, in case you didn't figure it out, an AfroFunk group that formed in 2003. The group is known for their unique sound, which combines elements of soul, electronica, dub, R&B and rap. After releasing their first album, The Funkiest Man in Africa, in 2006, the Afrofunk Experience established themselves in the popular world music scene. Their 2009 album, Black President, is the winner of the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding World Music Album.More Info
