27 Strings hails from the San Francisco Bay Area where they have established a reputation for their strong vocals, great harmonies, and fast-paced fiddle tunes. Formed in 2009, 27 Strings features Tom Bull on lead vocals and guitar; Greg Frees on mandolin; Hildy Licht on banjo and guitar; Rachel Gage on fiddle; Howard Gage on guitar and banjo; and Vicki Frankel on bass. Together, they perform a unique blend of classic and contemporary bluegrass music, served up exciting vocal and instrumental arrangements.
