The USA Olympic hockey team knows what every fan in the Shark Tank knows. Those looking for winners look to the Sharks.

While the Sharks aren’t fielding the most Olympians in the NHL as they did in 2010, four Sharks players made the cut for the 2014 Sochi games. Patrick Marleau and Marc-Edouard Vlasic will be playing for Team Canada, Joe Pavelski for USA and Antti Niemi for Finland.

At the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, Marleau helped the Canadians win the gold, recording two goals and three assists. Currently, he ranks first in the Sharks for goals (19), and second in points (41).

The 2014 games make for Pavelski’s second Olympic appearance, as he had three assists in the 2010 games, where the USA won the silver medal. So far this season, Pavelski is second in goals (18), and third in points (40).

This will be the first Olympic Games for Vlasic and Niemi.
