Grill on the Alley
Located in downtown San Jose’s Fairmont Hotel, the Grill on the Alley is a classy bar and grill with a classy burger: the black and bleu. The hefty sandwich combines a blue cheese-stuffed patty with blue cheese mayo.

Main Street Burgers
Fast food need not be bad food. Los Gatos’ Main Street burger serves better than average burgers at better than average prices.

Madera
The Sand Hill burger might be my favorite burger: oak-grilled meat, bacon, white cheddar, and house-made pickles. It’s all there. 


Naglee Park Garage
As a neighborhood gastropub, the Naglee Park Garage has to get the all important burger right and as the lines out the door attest, they get it right. A fresh poured glass of Allagash white ale is the perfect accompaniment.


Steakout
Add flavorful grassfed beef to a custom-made yeasted buns and you’ve got an outstanding burger.  It’s even better with a gelato milkshake on the side.
