Miguel Chaidez, 24, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for his role in the 2008 murder Mark Achilli outside his home.
At the time of his murder, Achilli was dating Tessa Donnelly, but as Donnelly testified in the trial, she was also dating Paul Garcia. When Garcia found out about this, he paid Chaidez to hire a hitman to kill Achilli.
He found Lucio Estrada, who fired eight shots at Achilli outside his townhouse. Estrada has since been sentenced to life in prison without parole. Only Garcia remains to be sentenced in the slaying.
