Perhaps it is the the present-day musical scene that has catapulted bay area piano rock outfit Thriving Ivory into the forefront. Neither glam band nor jam band, Thriving Ivory derives its creative energy from great rock predecessors such as Queen, Guns 'n' Roses, U2 and Elton John. At the same time, they manage to maintain a modern edge that lends them accessibility to fans of acts like The Killers, Coldplay and Gavin DeGraw.
