The Saint Michael Trio comes to the Historic Villa at the Montalvo Arts Center for a special concert entitled "The Sonata Yesterday and Today: Haydn And Schoenfield." Sonata form presents musical ideas in three movements, following an arc that goes from spritely to introspective to exuberant.
