Montalvo Arts Center encompasses a historic Mediterranean-style Villa in the Saratoga hills, as well as the 175-acre property it resides on. Formerly called Villa Montalvo, the property also includes the Sally and Don Lucas Residency Program and showcases a wide range of music, comedy, and theatrical performances in both the indoor Carriage House Theatre and the beautiful outdoor Lilian Fontaine Garden Theatre. Montalvo exhibits exciting up-and-coming artists in its Art on the Grounds and the Project Space Gallery, and features a wide range of innovative public programming.

Mission:
Montalvo Arts Center is an oasis of culture and nature whose mission is to create and present arts of all types, nurture artists, and use our historic Villa, buildings, and grounds in innovative ways that engage people in the creative process.
