Description

To call Saul Williams a hip hop artist would not do any of his multiple talents justice. He is a published poet who's authored four books, He won the Sundance Festival Grand Jury Prize for his role as an actor and a writer in the film "Slam." The same roles earned him a Cannes Camere D'Or (Golden Camera) award. A graduate of the prestigious NYU Tisch School of Acting, Williams is not a rapper or a hip hop artist. He is a genre in his own right.
