Description
The Symphony Silicon Valley is proud to present a program that features music from the Far North close the anniversary year. Edvard Grieg's "Peer Gynt Suite No. 1" conjures up images of Norwegian folklore while pianist Ning An serves as the soloist for Sergei Rachmaninoff's "Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini", one of his more well-known works. Conductor William Boughton leads the orchestra as they perform Jean Sibelius' "Symphony No. 2," which was performed at the first concert of the season, bringing the 10th Anniversary Season full circle.More Info
