Description
Alfredo and Isabel Aquilizan are a husband and wife team that have developed a collaborative practice that spans nearly two decades. After migrating from the Philippines to Australia, their work often explores the personal themes of migration, home, family, journey and memory, and frequently create collaborative large-scale multimedia installations with local communities. During their residence at the Montalvo Arts Center, they plan to develop a project that explores the history of the site by collecting and compiling materials found within the immediate environment.
