DRUM! Night 2013

Description

DRUM! Night is the premier drumming event in Northern California. This clinic/concert features top artists both playing and teaching in a beautiful concert setting at the San Jose Repertory Theatre.

This year's event will spotlight a roster of incredible drummers - Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers/Chickenfoot), Cindy Blackman-Santana (Lenny Kravitz/Santana), Jason Bittner (Shadows Fall/Anthrax), and Street Drum Corps - demonstrating startling chops and sharing professional playing tips.

Plus drummers who show up early will get the chance tour the DRUM! Night Expo, where they can sample new drum and percussion gear from Black Widow Drum Web, Craviotto Drum Company, Evans Drumheads, Gibraltar Hardware, Gretsch Drums, Istanbul Agop Cymbals, Latin Percussion, Louie Bellson Legacy, Pearl Drums, Remo Percussion, Sabian Cymbals, The Rhythmic Arts Project, Thumper Custom Drums, Yamaha Electronic Percussion, and Zildjian Gen16.

In addition, the editors of DRUM! Magazine will present the third annual Bay Area Drummer Achievement Awards (BADAAS) to a prominent local drummer who has helped distinguish the Northern California drumming scene.

This is sure to be a day of drumming any drummer would want to see!
