DAVEY D
Nationally recognized journalist, adjunct professor, Hip Hop historian, syndicated talk show host, radio programmer, producer, deejay, media and community activist. Originally from the Bronx, NY, Davey D’s been down with Hip Hop since since 1977 where he started out as an emcee for two crews TDK [Total Def Krew] out of Co-op City and the Avengers out of the Marble Hill Section of the Bronx. He moved to California and graduated from UC Berkeley.
Davey D is the co-founder and host of several of the most cited Hip Hop radio and online news journalism projects of all time. Hard Knock Radio (HKR) is an award-winning daily syndicated prime time afternoon show focusing on Hip Hop culture and politics. One of the first of its kind, the show originated in 1999 on KPFA 94.1 FM in the San Francisco Bay Area, and now can be heard in Seattle, Atlanta, Portland, Fresno and is streamed live on KPFA.org, reaching close to a million listeners daily.

FAVI ESTRELLA
Born and raised in San Francisco, Natalia García, aka Favi began singing at an early age. The classically trained bilingual siren grew up in a musical family, singing Flamenco and various foclorico styles . Blending these ancestral rhythms with Urban , R&B and party music, she defies genre categories to make Latin futurist music that moves, transforms and transports listeners through time and space.
She began recording as a collaborator to Latin Hip Hop artists including Los Rakas , who featured on her on 2009 break out hit “Abrázame” and has since lent her voice and writing talents to projects including new albums by Mexico DF based Bocafloja and Quilombo Arte. Most recently, she has performed across Calfiornia, Mexico and Spain and has gained a growing international fan base.

WASANAME AN EM

Hailing from Santa Ana and East Oakland, Wasaname an em have been delivering feel good flows for over 10 years . “Miles Away” off their LP, “Spring Forward-Fall Back”, was recently featured as the Song of the Month on IndieNation.com. They have opened for Hip Hop Pioneer KRS ONE as well as opened with names like The Roots, Tre Hardson formerely of the Pharcyde, The LIKS, Arrested Development, Rass Kass, Zion I, THE RZA, Dj Evil E, Jon B , Crown City Rockers & Living Legends.

SPANK POPS
Hailing from the cultural heart of the Bay Area, Spank Pops is a premiere emcee & songwriter whose deeply bred roots in the renowned Haight/Ashbury district of San Francisco blaze through in every musical work he puts forth. Best known for his reputable freestyles & ingenious lyrical works set to stone in the studio, he stays true to his early stomping grounds in the Western Addition, upon which he was born and raised. Throughout his life Spank has been exposed to the prime of every musical genre - the best of the best. His ability to master the art of meshing his aptitude as a stockbroker at The Pacific Stock Exchange with his natural forte selling mixtapes and designer gear at the legendary TRUE Clothing San Francisco has placed & cemented him at the top of his hustle.
Making music over the past decade has given Spanks the freedom and space to create without boundaries. He has brought to the board the West Coast flavored anthem “Populate” and the ensuant crowd shaker “Like Me Now”, while also flexing his experimental antics on the off beat banger “Small World”, which crumbled speakers through local airwaves and live shows in S.F. and the greater Bay Area. With individuality that shines through on every joint he blesses, Spank carries a fluid energetic flow fused with the Cali slang originality the West Coast is famous for. Constantly exposed to the innovative rap styles of fellow Bay artists and personal friends Andre Nickatina, Equipto and San Quinn - the latter with whom he recently threw down in the studio on the soon to debut single “Get Busy” - Spanks realized early on the significance of his approach to perseverance in the underground rap scene. Spanks considers himself blessed to have in years past opened for artists like Outkast, Wu Tang Clan, KRS One, Xzibit, Mac Dre (RIP), Goodie Mob and Raekwon.

Whaley & T.D., & Bored Stiff, whose members are Big Shawn (not to be confused with Big Sean), Dub Star, Equipto, Ike, Julz, Liel League, MIC, Mint Rock, P-Way, Priz & T.D.
