Alexander’s Steakhouse Cupertino To Host A Caviar & Beef Dinner

Alexander’s Steakhouse in Cupertino is hosting a special dinner event on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. that pairs caviar and beef in a seven-course tasting menu format designed and prepared by award-winning Chef Claude Le Tohic. The price is $350.00 per person excluding tax and gratuity. Wine pairings will be offered for an additional cost. Advance reservations are required. Valet parking will be available.

Every detail of this extraordinary dinner has been thoughtfully rendered, right down to the sourcing of the highlighted ingredient, Bulgarian Sturgeon Caviar. Chef Claude Le Tohic, accompanied by Executive Chef Jared Montarbo, traveled across the globe to the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria to visit one of the world's oldest and most renown purveyors of luxury, sustainably farmed caviar, for an in depth immersion into the production and harvesting of this iconic ingredient. Inspired by all they learned and well equipped with a variety of caviar straight from the source, they have designed a very special menu that caters to lovers of caviar and novices alike.

Platings will include a Miyazaki beef “Tataki” in a fine tartare topped with Osetra Caviar, Turbot slowly cooked with seaweed butter, jumbo asparagus, dry aged wagyu and Sevruga Caviar, and wood-fired Imperial Hanger Steak with mushroom macaroni gratin and natural juice.

Chef Claude Le Tohic has built his culinary reputation through years of dedication and forward-thinking creativity. His exceptional talent has contributed to Michelin star ratings for fine-dining establishments in Europe and the United States including the only Michelin 3-star restaurant in Las Vegas, Joel Robuchon at the MGM Grand. He was also the recipient of the elusive Meilleur Ouvier de France Award in 2004. This award is bestowed upon the very best of the best and is only given out every four years.
