They played a show that very night in San Francisco, and had a well-placed operative in front of the Fox Theatre passing out fliers to disappointed fans. Way to turn those frowns upside down! And then right-side up again, of course, with renditions of the Smiths’ gloomy greats. Take it from a man who has lyrics from “Panic” tattooed on his leg: these guys are next to Mozliness.
