The Winegrowers of Dry Creek Valley will showcase Zinfandel at ZinTopia, their inaugural consumer wine tasting, educational event and harvest celebration slated for Saturday, September 19. ZinTopia participants will have the opportunity to taste more than 50 wines from Dry Creek Valley wineries and meet dozens of winemakers and grape growers from the small, multi-generational wineries and vineyards of Dry Creek Valley. In addition to a comprehensive tasting of Dry Creek Valley Zinfandels, as well as Sauvignon Blancs and uncommon varietals, ZinTopia will offer an educational component called Zin-Smart. Zin-Smart will give guests an overview of Dry Creek Valley’s terroir along with a behind-the-scenes glimpse of harvest that includes a lively demonstration grape stomp. ZinTopia will tempt guests with a variety of distinctive culinary creations from Park Avenue Catering, Sonoma County’s only green-certified caterer. Live blues music and a pastoral market are also featured at ZinTopia.
