Description
Walking sticks, silkworms, and hissing cockroaches will be there, so why not you? At this family-oriented hands-on affair, children and adults get an up-close look at live insects, spiders, scorpions, millipedes, and more. Lots of YSI instructors and volunteers will be there to answer your questions and introduce you to the critters. To add to the fun, there will be children’s crafts, face painting, and bug-themed snacks. Free admission; donation suggested. Rain or shine. Park entry fee $6.Suggested donation: $10 per family
