Hearing Yonat & Her Muse play eclectic and groovy folk-soul songs will break your heart wide open. Yonat Mayer, the band's front woman, songwriter and singer has been crafting songs for over a decade and performing as a solo artist. Her songwriting is reminiscent of Norah Jones meets Adele meets Lauryn Hill. She has released 2 full length albums on CD Baby. In collaboration with bassist Derock Tucker, guitarist Mark Bailey and drummer John Russell, the band is based in Oakland and currently performing across the Bay Area and quickly gaining popularity. They are recording their debut album and hit single "Wild Hearts" in the Oakland hills to be released soon.
