Description
Fremont's Wrecked 880 named themselves after Interstate 880, specifically the freeway's notoriety for wrecks. Their music, much like a car accident, is the end product of multiple causes (pop-punk, power-pop, dance music) that smash together to create something new and unrecognizable. But unlike an accident, Wrecked 880 have mixed their elements together seamlessly and with great subtlety. Just one listen to "Keep Dancing" reveals the influences of Franz Ferdinand, Cheap Trick and Blink 182 all piled into one catchy song as though it were the most natural thing in the world.
