World Record Dance to "Thriller"

Want to be listed in a World Record? Preparations are underway around the globe to break the World Record for the Largest Simultaneous Dance to Michael Jackson’s Thriller.
The 7th annual Thriller World Record-Breaking Event Date: October 27, 2012, 12 Noon (Halloween Saturday). Studio One Art Center, 365 45th Street, Oakland, CA. All ages and physical abilities are welcome, 4-70+.
Come early for the crash course dance workshop, 9:30-11:30 am. The dance is easy to learn and can be low impact or high energy, depends on what kind of a zombie you are. Most people learn the dance in 1 hour. Remember, zombies are very poor dancers so anyone can do it! Zombie dress is optional.
Please arrive at least 1 hour early to register for the world record. All Zombies must pledge an oath that there will be no attacks of any kind upon humans at this event.
Thriller Dance Workshops—2nd and 4th Saturday beginning August 25th, 10 am– 12 noon. Weekly workshops begin October 6. Studio One Art Center, 365 45th Street, Oakland, CA
In 2009, nearly 23,000 people on 5 continents and 280 cities participated and broke the world record for the fourth straight year in a row! Last year, Zombies in Oakland beat their own record with 265 dancers. This year looks like a banner year. Many cities around the world have been registering their events since January!
