Memoir Journal presents Writing Autobiographical Fiction with Elizabeth McKenzie at the Capitola Book Cafe. In this workshop, participants will learn how to determine which pieces of reality survive on the page and which require the techniques of fiction. Instructor and author Elizabeth McKenzie offers will provide insights based on the development of her own short story collection, Stop That Girl, and will lead in-class discussions and exercises that stimulate creativity and expressiveness.The price of admission includes a complimentary subscription to Memoir.
