Description
Solo Show: Working for the Mousewritten and performed by Trevor Allen
Sat., April 2, at 2 p.m.
Sun., April 3, at 7 p.m.
After a sold-out run at City Lights last year, Trevor Allen’s hit solo show is back by popular demand!
Ever wonder what really goes on at the Happiest Place on Earth? Chronicling the life of a costumed character at Disneyland, Working for the Mouse is a hilarious and poignant look behind the scenes. Trevor spent a few years in Southern California portraying Pluto, Mr. Smee, the Mad Hatter and other characters in his height range. Now he recounts his tales of backstage debauchery, sex, drugs, kicks to the crotch, militant managers and quirky coworkers in this unusual coming-of-age tale. “Perfectly wonderful,” the Mercury News wrote. “Even Walt would have laughed.”
Admission is $18 general; $12 for seniors, students, and educators; and $10 for City Lights season-pass holders.
