Description
A Witchdream Mansion live show is usually just Robert Raymond spinning his soft acoustic guitar and ethereal melodies together all by his lonesome, but for this upcoming show he'll be backed by a seven-piece band. Raymond's songs work well in their simple one-man form, but should be particularly exciting to hear as the band builds harmonies on guitars and big splashy drums in a beautiful way. The easiest comparisons to reach for are Bon Iver or Sufjan Stevens, but Witchdream Mansion definitely does much more than simply echo either of those indie heavyweights. (Stephen Layton)
