Wish Upon a Star. Annual Memorial Day weekend musical presented by the Peter Pan Foundation. Brim-full of family-friendly music featuring stories and songs from beloved animated classics. Tuneful, funny, and energetic as PPF Founder Leslie Noel directs nearly 200 child and teen performers. Saturday, May 26 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.; Sunday, May 27 at 11:00 a.m.*, 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.; Monday, May 28 at 11:00 a.m.*, 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Diablo Valley College Performing Arts Center, 321 Golf Club Road, Pleasant Hill. (11:00 a.m. Mini-Matinees accommodate the youngest theatre-goers (and their parents) and feature PPF junior performers.) Fundraiser for Children’s Hospital and Research Center in Oakland.
