The Collings Foundation presents The Wings of Freedom Tour, which makes two stops in the Bay Area: Moffet Airfield and Livermore Municipal Airport. Families are welcome to explore majestic World War II bomber aircrafts from the inside out, including P-51 Mustang, the B-17 Flying Fortress and the B-24 Liberator. Visitors are also given a chance to feel the engines power up and take to the skies for a 30-minute flight experience in the world's greatest fighter jet!Walk-through tours are $12 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. Flying tours are $425 in the B-17 or B-24. Flights in the P-51 Mustang are $2200 for a half hour and $3200 for a full hour. Reservations needed for flying tours.
