Description
For nearly three decades, choreographer Margaret Wingrove of the Wingrove Dance Company has been creating provocative modern dance pieces for her company that are often based on literary works. This special annual concert features the premiere of "A Long Goodbye", a new piece about living with an elderly parent created by dancer Lori Seymour. The program also features "Off Center", a work about the varieties of love performed by six dancers; "Meanwhile", a tribute to Ballet San Jose dancer, Tiffany Glenn, who passed away in 2012; and "Enduring Streams", a collaboration between Wingrove and students from Yerba Buena High School.
